Default Making a Guild Wars Cape

For fun I decided to make a real version of my guild's cape. Here's what I ended up with.

Once I figured out how to make it, it really didn't take all that long to construct. Figuring out the stenciling for the background and emblem took the longest. The actual sewing was easy peasy.

Here are a couple of more pictures about the process.

Some detail.

Thanks for taking a look! If you're curious about the actual construction process I used, feel free to head over to my blog at The Crafty Sage.

Very nice.

Do you wear it?

From the look of it I shouldn't think it hangs well atm but you could get some curtain weighting and slip it in the bottom edge (the lightest should work best).

Nothing to really compare it against, but it looks tailored for a midget... How tall are you, OP?

lol! I used an apron pattern to make this. I'm only 5'1'' and it falls down to just past my buttocks, so right around where it falls on a character ingame. It would look like a bib for someone much taller!

I don't have any cosplay outfits, but that will probably change. GW2 is really inspiring me and there are lots I would like to try my hand at making.
